The Friends of San Clemente, Beaches, Parks and Recreation Foundation is dedicated to building a stonger community through its support of beaches, parks, recreation, cultural and educational activities.
The Friends was founded in 2000 as a vehicle to assist our City in meeting its parks, and recreational goals. We receive, invest, and distribute funds, property and other resources to aid, sponsor, promote, advance and assist in the provision of public parks, beaches, recreation, cultrual and educational services in and for the City of San Clemente.
Friends of San Clemente Beaches, Parks & Recreation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting, improving, and activating the coastal spaces, parks, recreation programs, and civic traditions that make San Clemente feel like home.

The Friends Foundation exists for one clear purpose: to support and enrich San Clemente’s beaches, parks, recreation facilities, youth programs, and community events.
Friends is uniquely positioned through a formal partnership with the City of San Clemente, directly moving community support Beaches, Parks & Recreation Department projects & programs.
Over the years, the Foundation has contributed more than $1,000,000 toward improvements, safety upgrades, recreation access, and beloved community traditions.
